Thank you for your enthusiasm! The hiker's opinion is the one I value most regarding the app. I've included a video of the app, too, in the website line. It's only in german at the moment but you still get the jist of the app.

An Android version of the app may be on the horizon, so I will keep you in the loop. The iPhone 5 release date is still unannounced, perhaps late summer. Thinking of switching :) ?
May I have permission to reference you in a future press release or ad?
Hope we'll be in touch again soon. Thanks again, Anthony!

It looks like a terrific App for all the trails in the area. I've got an Android phone so I can't use it but it looks very informative. When's the new Iphone 5 coming out?

Dear Anthony,

My name is Cara & I co-authored a hiking app (Apple devices) to the Santa Monica Mountains. Would you be interested in taking a look at it? It seemed by the content of your blog that the readership might like to hear about a hiking app. Drop me a line at the email below! I'm happy to chat with you in more detail.

All the best!

Howdy Anthony,
Jeff Katzer here, long time podcast and YouTube fan. Thought I would send you this link to a hiking book I wrote about our West Coast Trail adventures. Cable cars, endless ladders, miles of ocean, bears and whales...

http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/adventures-on-west-coast-trail/id500558661?mt=11

It is an iBook available for the iPad on the iTunes store just $2.99. there is a hiking story, a video of the trip with original music in the soundtrack, gear suggestions and planning tips.

I think you would like it (based on your podcasts and videos). Hey if you hate it, let me know and I'll link up you in So Cal next time I'm there and spot you your 3 bucks back. :-)

Keep them podcasts coming friend. I enjoy every one. I'm now watching for the rocks in every TV show...

Vasquez Rocks is one of my favorite riding spots. Here is a link to Everytrail.com that shows the track and photos from one of my trips: http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=110427&code=0d0705ec9ddbb048ec2c14b95abd8b72
About mid trip, you will see a couple of photos showing a head on the hillside that I think I'm the only one who has noticed it or at least commented about. Also, "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" has several scenes that were shot at VR.

Thanks Jeff, I checked out your blog and Youtube channel and it's great. My niece just moved up to Washington from Las Vegas and couldn't be happier, much better place to raise two young boys who love the outdoors. Her husband is a firefighter in Tukwila. I'm packing up tonight and tomorrow for the trip up to Yosemite on Tuesday. Rain and snow are expected. It will be quite the adventure. I'll keep you posted. Keep up the good work.

Hey Anthony,
Thanks for all the effort you put into entertaining me with your podcasts and YouTube channel. I've been a subscriber for a long time and I though it was about time I said thanks. I have been writing an "Adventure Journal" for years and recently got a little blog & YouTube thing going (in no small part thanks to watching guys like you). I think you might find it interesting:

Hey Anthony.
Thanks for all the episodes! I am still enjoying them. I live about 15-20 miles from Niagara Falls, if your EVER in the area I would love to join you in an episode of Anthony's Audio Journal on the Niagara Gorge Trail, in the deep gorge below and after Niagara Falls. The trail isn't too tough but the views of the Class 5 rapids along the huge boulders down there are epic! I would love to accompany you some day.
Keep up the great podcasts! (I don't blame you not hiking in the extreme heat)
Have a great day
